Logistics is undergoing a change around the world, and there are increasing demands for sustainable solutions in this productive sector. With this in mind, Repsol and Cabka developed highly functional recycled Polypropylene pallets .
Cabka's high-performance, reusable recycled plastic pallets incorporate the new Repsol Reciclex® polypropylene compound. This material is made from plastic waste and has been developed for Cabka's Endur i7 (CP1) high-performance plastic pallets.
Through a statement, both companies explained that the new pallets offer load capacity, high bending rigidity and excellent dimensional stability , while being compatible with automated handling and robotic palletizing.
With respect to the recycled pallets previously available, the main improvement of these new models lies in their high resistance to mechanical deformation, possible thanks to the fact that Repsol technicians from the Repsol Technology Lab reinforced this solution with their range of high-impact polypropylene, Repsol Impacto®.
For this project, Cabka contributed its development experience, centralized in its Innovation Center in Valencia, where the German company integrates materials formulation, product design and testing capabilities for the production of reusable transport packaging with a circular economy approach. .
With the launch of the new high-performance plastic pallet with recycled plastic content, logistics companies can boost and achieve their circular economy goals.
